他说：‘现在有一把火钳，它被烧得滚烫，但肉眼却看不出来，如果你去拿这把火钳，是知道它烧得滚烫受害严重，还是不知道它烧的滚烫受害严重？’

弟子想了想，回答道：‘应该是不知道它被烧得滚烫受害严重。因为不知道，所以才没有一点准备，被烫的时候，就已经来不及采取防范措施了。‘
sakyamunisaidkindly:‘yes!ifyouknowthatthetongsareburninghotandgotogetthem，youwillhaveadeepfear，donotdaretobecareless，whenyoutakethem，youwillnottrytograspthem.’
释迦牟尼和蔼的说道：‘是啊！如果知道火钳烧得火烫而去拿，就会心惊胆战深怀戒心，不敢丝毫大意，拿的时候也不会用力去抓。’
itcanbeseenthattheignoranceisnotinnocent，buttheignorancesuffersthemost.
可见，并不是‘不知者无罪‘，而是不知者受害最大。
itisbecausepeopledonotunderstandthistruth，sotheywillbeinthebitterwaves，tossandsink.
人们就是因为不明这个真理，所以才会在苦浪里，翻腾沉沦。）
